Oberon’s Restaurant and Bar will be hosting monthly whisk{e}y tastings each month starting December 2018.  Each tasting will be conducted in our back room, and will generally last between one and two hours depending on attendance. Guests will be provided tasting notes, food pairings (such as cheeses, jams, crackers, fruit or chocolate depending on the type of whiskey).

Each event will offer our guests the opportunity to taste rare or lesser-known whiskeys, discover different food pairings, and experience a unique venue to meet other whiskey enthusiasts.

Our goal is to provide a space for all types of whiskey enthusiasts, from the beginner to the connoisseur, to enjoy delightful drams and to hopefully learn interesting facts throughout. We are not whiskey experts, but whiskey enthusiasts like yourself who are eager to share our wide collection of spirits.

Moving forward, expect to hear about our different tastings that will center around specific distilleries, regions, and mash bills. 

 

April 22, 2018 Tasting at 4:30pm

Details: 

This month's whiskey tasting at Oberon's will be hosted on Sunday, April 22 at 4:30pm and will feature premium bourbons from the United States. During this event, participants will taste five (5) unique and rare bourbons and have the opportunity to compare and contrast different styles of bourbon.

In addition, participants will be provided cheese to pair with each bourbon.

2. Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style Bourbon
3. Yellow Limited Edition Bourbon
4. Orphan Barrel Forged Oak 15 Year Bourbon
5. Wild Turkey Master's Keep Decades 17 Year Bourbon

Estimated duration of the event is between 1 and 2 hours depending on attendance. The event will be hosted in the backroom of Oberon's Restaurant and Bar. Both cash and card payments are accepted. Please pay upon arrival.
